PSB Industries and Quadpack successfully complete their combination

PSB Industries is pleased to report that the operation to combine its subsidiary Texen with Quadpack into a single Group, announced on 15 July this year, has been successfully completed. The combination places PSB Industries in the Top 5 cosmetics packaging companies worldwide.

Quadpack Kierspe celebrates 60 years

Five years since the incorporation of Louvrette, Quadpack’s facilities in Kierspe, Germany, have become the flagship of the group’s manufacturing operations. The factory itself was established 60 years ago, employing workers from the local area.

EcoVadis Platinum Medal puts Quadpack in global top 1% for sustainability performance

Quadpack is proud to have been awarded a Platinum Medal from sustainability ratings company EcoVadis. Advances in business sustainability, most notably in the areas of Environment and Labour & Human Rights, upgraded the company’s rating from Gold to Platinum.

Quadpack Foundation triggers ‘multiplier effect’ in 2023

Quadpack Foundation extended its reach in 2023. Through its charitable arm, Quadpack participated in 31 community projects worldwide, with renewed focus on supporting underprivileged youth.

Quadpack starts airless manufacture in the Americas

Quadpack is bringing production of its prestige airless products to the Americas. Thanks to a partnership agreement with US injection moulding company Colt’s Plastics, it will be offering its best-selling Regula Airless Refill range locally to brands in the region, with shorter lead times and a reduced carbon footprint.

“Quadpack was born out of collaboration”

Quadpack was established in 2003 through the merger of Belcos Packaging (Spain), Lenglart Packaging (France) and Gadbrook Packaging (UK). Now in its 20th year, Quadpack is a company with a story to tell. It started with Tim Eaves, Philippe Lenglart and Jeremy Garrard: three packaging mavericks who came together with a single mission – to help beauty brands perform.

2022 saw a new collaboration chapter open for long-term partners Quadpack and Natura Bissé. United by their wish to support educational projects, both companies put their corporate foundations at the service of teachers and children in the Catalonia region of Spain through ‘Project Difference’, led by Fundación Ricardo Fisas Natura Bissé.

Quadpack extends sustainable decoration

Full-cover hotfoil stamping has now been incorporated into the decoration portfolio of Quadpack. Following the acquisition of decoration specialist Stefan Wicklein Kunststoffveredelung GmbH, the company has become one of the few expert providers worldwide of this complex technique.

2023: a year of transformation and commitment to make a positive impact

2022 has been quite a year for Quadpack! Our revenues have been skyrocketing after two years of deep impact due to COVID, with mid-year results showing a 58% improvement in our revenue and doubling our EBITDA. This regained momentum confirms the strength of our business model and our ability to find unique solutions for our customers.

The power of volunteering

Quadpack Manufacturing Quality Manager Claudia Barros always wanted to volunteer in a social project but never had the chance until she joined the company a year ago. During her onboarding in Barcelona, she was introduced to the Quadpack Foundation. Since then, she’s been involved in three different projects, helping young people build their skill sets and career plans.

Quadpack inaugurates decoration centre in Germany

Quadpack has officially opened its new decoration centre at its manufacturing plant in Kierspe, Germany. Already a centre of excellence for PET injection and airless packaging manufacture, the factory now boasts a 900m2 facility with five high-capacity decorating lines and 11 assembly machines.

Alexandra Chauvigné is Quadpack’s new CEO

Quadpack is proud to announce that Alexandra Chauvigné has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 September 2022. Chauvigné succeeds co-founder Tim Eaves, who remains as Chairman of Quadpack’s Board of Directors.

Quadpack sets up laboratory services in the Americas

Beauty brands in the Americas now have access to testing services of their packaging at Quadpack’s facilities in Dallas, Texas. The service adds a further level of quality control, as Quadpack seeks to offer solutions in the region, for the region.

Hello! We are a B Corp!

In April 2022, Quadpack was certified as B Corp, a distinction given to a select group of 5,000-plus purpose-driven businesses around the world. We now belong to a community composed of global sustainability role models .

Quadpackers volunteer for youth inclusion

Eight Quadpackers from France have engaged in a volunteer project to help young people prepare for the job market. The project is part of Pro'Pulse, a free preparatory course with a personalised and comprehensive approach that facilitates access to apprenticeship for young people without qualifications.

Taking care and giving back: helping a Quadpackers' family forest

Quadpack has partnered with Life Terra, a pan-European project endorsed by the European Commission whose goal is to reinforce the human connection with nature and restore climate-resilient forests to help mitigate climate change.

Quadpack expands European manufacturing

Quadpack’s Kierspe plant is being expanded to meet increased demand, in particular for airless packaging, while bringing decoration services in-house to accelerate time to market.

Quadpack receives EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability performance

Quadpack has been awarded a Gold Medal by EcoVadis, the global, independent rating agency for sustainability management. The beauty packaging provider has improved its score thanks to its policies and actions in ethics, labour & human rights, environment and sustainable procurement.

Innovative collaboration for microplastics research

Quadpack Foundation has partnered with UAB Research Park to support scientific research on microplastics and their effects on people and the environment. The foundation sponsored the 12th edition of Generació d’Idees, an initiative that aims to foster the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation culture among researchers and doctoral students, connecting them with the current challenges of industries.

Quadpack Foundation takes a world tour in 2021

With more than 20 projects in ten countries, the non-profit organisation has grown its reach and governance. A record number of 96 Quadpackers engaged in volunteering activities throughout the world.

Pioneering 3D printing technology produces functional, ultra-realistic models

Quadpack has expanded the 3D modelling capability at its UK-based rapid prototyping centre. Following an upgrade to Stratasys’ J850 Prime 3D printer, it is now working with new materials to offer new finishes, textures and Pantone colours. The current setup enables it to produce fully-functional models that look more realistic than ever.

Quadpack Foundation and the Red Cross in Catalunya sign collaboration agreement

Quadpack Foundation, the non-profit arm of Quadpack, is partnering with the Catalan branch of the Spanish Red Cross to help improve the employment prospects of people at risk of social exclusion.

Structural measures reinforce good governance at Quadpack

Quadpack’s governance structure has been strengthened at board level, with the appointment of its first independent members. In addition, three new committees have been created focused on sustainability, audit and risk, and remunerations and nominations.
