Specialist printing and packaging company Roberts Mart & Co Ltd is celebrating multiple awards successes to kick off 2018, heralding a period of innovation and investment during the next few months.
Kicking off with a highly coveted Haribo Print Performance Award for consistent quality in over 300 examples of printed packaging for the international confectionery brand, Roberts Mart went on to claim no fewer than eight prizes in the 2018 Print Awards run by EFIA (European Flexographic Industry Association), including three Gold Awards and a Best in Show gong for a project for international brand M&Ms.
Roberts Mart’s accolades recognised not just the company’s quality and consistency of printing on various surfaces and widths, and ability to exceed the expectations of leading brands, but also good manufacturing practice and technical innovation. The company’s three gold awards now qualify it to battle international print specialists in the FTA Europe Diamond Awards 2018, to be presented during May at an event in Milan, Italy – an opportunity for Roberts Mart to showcase to an even wider audience its class-leading SpectRM flexo print technology.
These outstanding achievements act as the precursor to a series of investments planned by the firm in technology and innovation, which will ensure the company stays ahead of trends within the flexible printing and packaging industry.
Roberts Mart Sales Director Ben Roberts commented: “We are over the moon at these latest awards which exceeded our best expectations and in fact build on the various accolades we collected last year. Far from resting on our laurels, we’re planning significant investments in
the business this year and are already working on several innovative solutions that will keep us ahead of the curve and prove to all our customers - from global brands to niche retailers - that Roberts Mart is the ‘go-to’ supplier for top quality, reliable and robust printed flexible packaging.”
