Excellent progress is being made on the installation of our 2nd automated rack anodising plant which will increase SACO capacity from 220 million per annum to over 450 million pressed and anodised components per annum. This investment along with our 3rd factory and & new to SACO Platarg Presses forms part of a very significant investment plan.

To support this growth plan we are very pleased to announce that we have added more expertise to our team through the following appointments:

• Production Manager – we are pleased to welcome a highly experienced manager from within the industry who has over 25 years toolmaking and pressing experience. Our new production manager will be focused in all areas to ensure that we continue to grow and improve.

• Anodising Technician – we are pleased to welcome a highly experienced manager from within the industry who has over 30 years anodising experience. Our new Anodising Technician will be focussed on improvements to our existing anodising process but will also be supporting the implementation and development of our 2nd anodising plant and our new laboratory.

• Toolmakers – We are pleased to welcome 3 highly skilled development toolmakers each with over 20 years’ experience in deep draw pressing from within the industry. They will focus in all areas of pressing production as well as the development of new products and improvements as we continue in our pursuit of offering new innovations to the market and supporting more technically challenging design briefs.

• Apprentices – We are pleased and very proud to be taking 6 (yes 6!!) new apprentices in 2015, this is an unprecedented amount of young people being employed and developed by the business and is a true indication of how serious we are about our strategic growth and our future success.
