Sidney Industries has this year been celebrating 25 years in the packaging industry. The company was established in 1990 when it commenced business with pressblowers, injection blow moulders, a 4-colour offset printing machine, hot stamping machines and ultrasonic plastic welders.

Since then, the company has expanded to become a leading plastic tube packaging specialist producing high barrier and multilayered variants in HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, EVOH, and PET of from 40ml up to 400ml.

In addition to plastic tubes, Sidney Industries also provides other packaging solutions for the cosmetic, personal care, food and beverage, agriculture, pharmaceutical, industrial and veterinary markets. With a wide range of both standard screw-on and flip-top caps, the closures feature different diameters to suit the company's extensive range of PE tube and PET bottle sizes.

Offset printing is no longer the only decoration on offer. 25 years on and Sidney now has value-added decoration services available, such as hot-stamping on tubes or caps which can enhance the packaging or enable a product to fit an established product line. Lacquering and labelling are also now available too.

To enhance the company's reputation for quality Sidney Industries was certified with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 accreditation by SIRIM, for quality and environmental management on 19 January 2000 and 27 August 2007 respectively.
