SR Packaging, a Taiwanese firm manufacturing injection-, extrusion-, and blow-moulded plastic components, has incorporated a new decoration process into its arsenal of techniques, providing clients with yet another way to distinguish themselves on shelves.

As packaging designers and marketing professionals continue to look for new and exciting special effect packages at a low price, SR Packaging has incorporated the new MetalSheen Pigment (MSP) process, taking packaging decoration to a new level.
 
This pigment allows PET bottles, jars and caps to evince the characteristic glowing sheen of vacuum metallization, but at a price that’s much lower than one would think, and readily accessible.

When combined with custom colouring, the process can be used to provide a metallic lustre to just about any packaging.  Colour-matching can also be done in order to ensure new items are in line with existing marketing materials or packaging.
 
All of SRP’s decoration techniques are done in-house under the watchful eyes of skilled technicians.  The new MetalSheen Pigment process can be used as a stand-alone feature or in conjunction with other techniques, silkscreen printing, hot stamping and labelling.
