Starview just added a third new CNC vertical machining center to increase capacity is our machining department. This brand new Haas VF5SS gives us additional tooling capability as well as the ability to process large machine components. It is 50” x 26” in the X and Y axis with 25” under the spindle. A 40 +1 position tool changer gives us very fast set-up.

For those of you who have experienced delays in tooling delivery, this increased capacity will shorten those lead times in the future. It also means that we will have in-house control over more of the components used in our systems with the end result being lower component costs and shorter deliveries.
