Scandal, the new fragrance for women by Jean Paul Gaultier, comes in 30, 50 and 80 ml size bottles crowned by a cap with never-ending legs. 

TESEM worked together with Puig for the development, manufacture and assembly of the cap for the 30 ml version, and the collar for the 50 and 80 ml versions.

The final shape of the aluminium cap was achieved through a complex process of diameter reduction. The cap consists of an outer part in aluminium, an inner plastic, a weight and a pendant assembled on the cap with a miniature replica of the legs on the top of 50 and 80 ml versions of the perfume.

The cap fits onto a big collar fixed to the bottle. In order to achieve the ideal position between the cap pendant and the bottle, the collar contains an inner plastic component that performs mechanical anchoring functions.

The pendant assembly was also carried out at TESEM facilities. The assembly is anodized in a champagne-nickel tone with a very shiny effect.
