Tetra Pak makes good on its promise and "protects what's good" by introducing Tetra Recart. The new packaging concept is the first retortable carton package designed for shelf-stable products traditionally filled in cans, glass jars or pouches, like vegetables, beans, tomatoes, pet food, soups and sauces. Further, several life cycle analyses comparing Tetra Recart packages with steel cans and glass jars show that Tetra Recart has a significantly lower environmental impact.
