The Consumer Packaging Manufacturers Alliance is an independent advisory body which works alongside the packaging industry and British and European governments. We strive to ensure that packaging legislation is fair to both the consumer and the industry as a whole.

CPMA advises and represents some of the largest packaging organisations in the UK with regulation changes to strategic investment opportunities and has working knowledge of the packaging industry from shop floor to board level, covering multiple market sectors and product types.

Mike Ridgway is the driving force behind the Consumer Packaging Manufacturers Alliance (CPMA). An experienced professional with over 40 years within the industry, Mike has previously worked with two major UK producers of consumer packaging products from shop floor to director level, as well as in an advisory capacity.

During his time in the industry, Mike has spearheaded many projects for some of the largest packaging organisations in the industry, as well as negotiating with the European Union and UK and Irish governments in relation to tobacco packaging regulation.
