Heidi Cook, a 25-Year veteran of the wine packaging industry, and most recently a packaging consultant for TricorBraun WinePak, has retired to pursue interests outside of the wine industry, according to Andrew Bottene, Senior Vice President at TricorBraun WinePak.
"Heidi has been a strong asset to TricorBraun WinePak," said Bottene. "We are grateful that she shared her talents with us for so long, and wish her well in her future ventures."
Prior to TricorBraun WinePak, Cook worked for Richards Packaging as a Sales Manager. She joined TricorBraun WinePak in 2008 as a Sales Manager.
"Over half of my life has been spent servicing an amazingly dynamic industry," said Cook. "I watched it grow from 50 wineries to over 400 in a short time."
Cook said, "I am pleased that Michelle Thornburn, who has worked so diligently and relentlessly to service this industry, will take over my responsibilities along with Derek Payne who I worked with at Richards Packaging, and has vast knowledge of the industry. Along with Andrew Bottene, I know the WinePak team will continue its success into the next phase of packaging development for our British Columbia wineries."
TricorBraun WinePak has sales of more than $150 million and its Fairfield, California, facility features more than 360,000 square feet of warehouse space and a $2-million auto repacking system. The company has additional warehousing space throughout the major wine growing regions in America and Canada.
