It's ten years since UDN incorporated PCR as a material option for the production of its packaging products, and now the Chinese company is able to offer its customers an excellent selection of products manufactured with post-consumer recycled plastic.

The PCR plastic utlized by UDN is sourced from single use packaging, and in particular milk packs that have entered into the recycling channel.

UDN's PCR tubes can be manufactured to FDA standards using any amount from 20% up to 100% PCR material. The company's caps can also be produced with PCR plastic facilitating complete packs produced with 100% PCR material.

PCR can also be used with UDN's patented one-piece tubes with lightweight caps for an extra impact reduction.

UDN's offering of PCR material for its tubes and caps is part of its sustainability standards. These standards are benefitial for carbon footprint reduction, lighter weights and savings in energy and material consumption, and benefit UDN, its customers, consumers and the planet.
