UKPACK’s PET Airless Lotion Bottles

UKPACK now uses PET material to produce airless bottles, meaning it is a more cost effective and sustainable choice for customers, opening more opportunities for the use of PCR. The company has completed batch test production on their range of airless bottles the UKA69 series. During the tests, the product was able to retain the transparency of PETG and could also be produced using recycled materials, reducing the overall use of virgin plastics.

UKPACK’s airless refillable system utilizes PP, but can also be created with 30-100% PCR by package weight. The internal cartridge can be recycled and a new cartridge can be used with the same actuator and outer bottle. Both of these features reduce the carbon footprint and environmental impact of the ARS. Incorporating a disposable and replaceable inner cartridge is UKPACK Packaging’s newest innovation towards sustainable packaging.
