Since opening in 1993, UFP has grown into one of the UK’s leading contract food packaging companies. We have increased the range of services we offer, the equipment and expertise available and our management and environmental credentials.

Universal Flexible Packaging – UFP – is a family-run business that opened in 1993. We started as a packaging film supplier, but since then we have grown to become an industry leader in flexible packaging. We since expanded into contract packaging, added cardboard packaging to the portfolio and can now receive, pack, box, label, store and deliver almost anything apart from, currently, powdered goods.

Every development of the company has been in response to, or in anticipation of, our customer’s needs. We innovate for success; we develop to provide a more complete service; we listen; we learn; we improve at every step. That’s why, for example, we now have nut-free production facilities and an active recycling and waste reduction policy.

We know that good customer service comes from knowing and understanding our clients, anticipating their needs and being ready to deliver what they want, when they want it.
