The 5th Specialty Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit took place on the 21st and on the 22nd of September 2016 in Mumbai, India.

In this Edition participants have dealt with several topics relating to the innovation in the World of Packaging, with a particular look at the last consumption trends, the new design approaches and the innovations in the field of coating and printing.

Uteco Group participated at the event introducing innovative production solutions based on advanced technologies such as Onyx XS Eco One, the new ultra-compact 8-colors flexographic printing press with print repeats up to 650 mm, EB lamination and inline cut, and Sapphire, for the 7-colors digital printing on plastic films, developed in collaboration with Kodak.

The Summit was a huge success with more than 900 participants, in particular for Uteco Group, that received many customers at its stand. The stand has been represented from the Chief Product Manager for the Rotogravure & Special Machine division Alessandro Bicego, who delivered the speech and from the South Asia & Far East Sales Manager Riccardo Camatta, further then the Indian agency Ashling Impex ILP.
