Verallia completes the acquisition of Allied Glass

Verallia, the leading European and the world’s third largest producer of glass containers for food and beverages, has completed today the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Allied Glass. Allied Glass is a leading player in the premium glass packaging market in the United Kingdom.

Verallia innovates with glass dishes for Fleury Michon ready-to-eat-meals

For the past ten years, Fleury Michon has been committed to systematically reducing the impact of its packaging, giving preference to recyclable and reusable materials. This year, Fleury Michon is launching a new alternative to stoneware dishes: the glass dish, a major innovation from Verallia that promotes recyclability.

Verallia invests €24m in France to modernize VOA - Verrerie D’Albi

Jean-Pierre Floris, Verallia’s chairman and CEO, inaugurated on March 24, 2016 the new installations of VOA – Verrerie d’Albi. More than €24m have been invested to completely modernize half of the production equipment in this emblematic plant, symbol of Verallia’s glassmaking expertise.

Saint-Gobain today announced the closing of the sale of Verallia to Apollo Global Management LLC and Bpifrance, who now hold respectively 90% and 10% of Verallia’s equity.

Verallia España produces Coca-Cola’s “Contour” bottle!

Coca-Cola’s legendary “Contour” bottle, patented in 1915, is one of the most recognizable containers in the world. Verallia bought virtually the whole stock of the brand’s reusable bottles to turn them into new containers, inspired by the original model.
