Curio Spirits has launched a beautiful new glass bottle exclusively created by Allied Glass for its Wild Coast Gin and Cardamom Vodka brands, giving it a more distinctive profile whilst supporting Curio’s desire to be more environmentally responsible. The new bottle, which is manufactured in standard flint replaces the previous extra white flint container which was produced in Europe, it therefore using recycled content and reducing the bottle’s carbon footprint.
Handcrafted and unique, the beautiful bottle has been designed to perfectly reflect the quality of the spirit within, a painstaking approach having been taken to its profile to ensure that the light shines perfectly through the carefully crafted facets.
Michael Hogley, Allied’s NPD Director, says: “This bottle was developed in response to the customers’ brief, the level of detail on the bottle creating a stunning effect in standard white flint glass.”
In keeping with their mission, Curio have also replaced the glass stoppers in the bottles with recyclable wooden ones and the new labels are printed on recyclable paper.
Rubina Tyler Street of Curio Spirits, says: “Our aim was to make our entire pack more environmentally friendly, as well as being locally sourced, the new bottles are lighter than our previous containers and therefore require less fuel to transport.”
Established in 2015 in Cornwall, Curio’s passion for flavour is in everything they do – the spirits being distilled a total of four times before bottling. Their gin is made using Rock Samphire hand foraged from the clifftops.
