Italy has some of the most well known exports in the world, from supercars to heady wines to charismatic fashion labels. Benefiting from a long, colourful history and a culture revolving around glamour and flavour, Italian charm is renowned around the globe. Vetroelite incorporates the Italian touch into all of its glass products with a special focus on glass packaging that epitomizes Italian culture from wine and spirits to gourmet food to premium beauty packaging and exclusive fragrances.
Vetroelite is a well-known name in the glassware industry. Can you tell us about your products?
Our company offers an exclusive range of glass packaging, which includes bottles, carafes, perfume bottles and jars as well as related services which are intended for 3 principal markets. These are liquid products for food and drink such as bottles for wine, cider, spirits, fine olive oil, vinegar, high-end mineral water and more; food products for which we have a "gourmet" jar range; and then fragrance, cosmetic and body products which also includes home diffusers as well as other perfumery products.
In addition to our stylish glass lines, we also offer our clients closures which are selected according to the product. At Vetroelite, we produce stylish, high quality products; therefore it is imperative that we can offer a complete product to our customers. It's part of Vetroelite's surety.
How has Vetroelite's product line developed over the years?
Vetroelite was established over 20 years ago and the company has built its fine reputation on creativity and innovation in glassware, in its ability to conceive singular shapes which are highly attractive. The product offering from Vetroelite is regularly updated and enriched. This is done through cooperation with international designers and the constant study of the markets in which the company works.
All products are highly researched and there is constant contact with clients to discover and understand their needs and desires. This is a great benefit for ensuring that we are consistently innovating with the products that the market demands.
Italy is well known for its glassware. How does the Italian style and quality influence your product lines?
Italian flair for design is very important. We are proud of Italy's international reputation for design as well as its artisan reputation for glasswork and this is something which we reflect in our work.
All our glass models have a unique, premium style with the Vetroelite signature — the Italian touch — a charm which our clients appreciate and can recognize.
Do you create new, custom products for customers, or do you have a catalogue?
We offer both services to customers. Vetroelite has an extensive catalogue of products which includes high-end glass creations that are ideal for both masstige and prestige brands. However, our experience and know-how in the development of new items allows us to supply custom-made packaging as well as the option to customize standard products for a new look.
Do you offer decoration services to differentiate the look of your products?
Yes, of course. At Vetroelite we consider services such as decoration to be highly relevant to our offering of glass packaging. For high end and prestige customers in particular, this is another important benefit in working with us. Vetroelite can offer advice based on a solid understanding of its products and assist clients on issues related to graphic design if needed. Customization of a product for a client results in a qualitative and innovative solution to ensure that theirs is a distinctive piece that truly stands out.
Are your customers mostly Italian or international companies?
Of course Vetroelite glass packaging is sold in Italy. It is our home region and we have established an excellent company reputation in the market which is extended internationally so that we also work with overseas companies. Vetroelite has always had a strong focus towards export and because of this we have presence across the globe with both representative offices and sales offices in strategical markets which include the United States, Canada, France and Poland.
Vetroelite's latest catalogue has recently been released. What new products can we see?
That's right. We've just finished editing our catalogue and there are a few new products in there which are especially important to mention.
There are 3 new glass bottles that we expect to make quite an impact: Bartender and Eliot have been designed with a vocation for spirits and the Natura 2 bottle for olive oil.
In the food sector, we have introduced the Italia and Tao Alto jars which are already proving to be popular and for home ambience we have launched a new line for home diffusers that features a square base - Petra.
How can people stay up-to-date with your latest product releases and see your glassware?
There are many ways so that there is always an easy option available to suit.
We have a new catalogue that simplifies our families of products and ranges. The catalogue is easy to comprehend and search so that the most relevant product choice can be made. We have also just published some brochures which introduce the newest models to the market.
We participate at various exhibitions throughout the year and visitors to exhibitions or our offices can see our new models which have been decorated to offer further inspiration and show off our creativity. In addition to all of this, there's also the Vetroelite web site which is regularly updated. There's a great number of ways in which we reach out to customers and we have thousands of options for our product offering to be realized.
