Research & Development
The R&D management in VMI is operated by engineers and technicians mastering diversified technology including mechanics, electronics, automation and the theory of mixtures. It also includes well-trained baker and pastry chef conducting mixing and blending process during development. The entire team works on daily basis to improve VMI technologies. There are two testing laboratories both equipped with highly efficient facility allows large-scale tasks.
Design
There are fifty people team up VMI’s design department responsible for defining, optimizing core concept of VMI machines. The design team works on 3 major sectors by using tools of CAD/CAM 3D, control systems :
- Baking and pastry subsidiary
- Industrial subsidiary (Rayneri)
- Automation engineering
Manufacture
VMI has 20,000m2 of manufacturing and assembling area and each range of machine is supported by a dedicated team, composed of fully qualified staff, particularly experienced in the techniques required for a quality manufacture. The industrial machinery are given particular attention since each of them is fully assembled and tested in our workshops, up till the smallest automatism, before being dismantled and shipped to its destination site where it will be reassembled by our intervention team. The same project manager oversees the installation in the workshops and the final assembling on site until initiation inspection checked.
Sales
There are three separate teams who are responsible for the sale of our products. True partners of our customers, these mixture technology specialists accompany them throughout their purchasing process by advising them on various technical as well as financial options available to them.

Made up of field men and women, permanently listening to the needs of our customers, our sales teams are also a privileged carrier of information back to our R&D and our design departments. The latter are often asked to meet at best, alongside our sales people, each particular case which can be presented to us.
Support, After-Sales Service
Through a global network of distribution and representation agents, the VMI Group provides full support service. There are 22 people in VMI customer support team that deals 600 orders per month, 100 phone calls and 60 faxes per day, and must hold some 100 to 120 maintenance visits of facilities per year.
