Wapo’s new automatic inspection machine increases QC quality

  • Wapo

Wapo, in its continued effort to provide the finest products to all customers, has recently introduced an automatic inspection machine. The machine is configured for both pouch and label converters looking for manufacturing and QC optimization. It is capable of inspection ranging from visual overviews to 100% detail, thanks to the advanced KEIKI CCD camera that can detect even the smallest of defects. The automatic inspection machine, furthermore, is loaded with a downstream converting operation system.

After printing and pre-lamination, the master roll inspection process allows converters to sort out defects as well as blown film issues such as with gels. The master roll inspection process is also ideal for pouch converters that require inspection and edge trim prior to pouch converting.

Established in 1988, Wapo Corporation is one of the principal manufacturers focused on flexible packaging materials for the food, pharmaceutical and other industries in Taiwan. The company specializes in the handling of laminating, slitting, pouch-making and the process of reverse rotogravure printing, all with a wide range of raw materials.
