It's always good to receive a request for quote (RFQ), however, sometimes the need may arise for your own company to submit a RFQ. Webpackaging welcomes RFQs from the packaging community around the globe.

There are various ways in which you can submit your RFQ across webpackaging.

Option 1. Fill out the 'Quote Me' form

With the exception of company portal pages, the 'Quote Me' page can be accessed directly on the blue bar at the top of any page.

Simply click to open the form and fill out the details of what you require.

Option 2. Send a message

Use the webpackaging contact page to send a message to the webpackaging team.

We will then clarify the details if required, or let you know when we have set up the RFQ on webpackaging for you.

Option 3. Contact your webpackaging marketing manager

The marketing management team at webpackaging has an excellent understanding of packaging products because it works directly with all of the certified suppliers, creating catalogs, writing articles, uploading packaging data and more. If your company is a webpackaging certified supplier then contact your marketing manager directly to give details of what packaging you need to source and our team will send out your RFQ to the most appropriate suppliers.

What information should be supplied to submit a RFQ?

A good RFQ includes as much detail as possible with regard to your requirements.

  • What do you actually require? For example, a square glass bottle with a 100ml capacity and a 18/410 neck is a far clearer requirement than 'bottles'.
  • Are you sourcing a full pack or just a part? Do you require a bottle on its own, or do you perhaps require a cap, pump or sprayer to go with it?
  • Where do you want delivery/or to source from? Taxes, delivery times and carbon footprints are important elements of business nowadays. The webpackaging team can make better searches if this information is supplied.
  • How many products do you need? Different companies have different minimum order requirements. When you provide a clear indication of the quantity you want, your enquiry will only receive a response from companies that can assist you with that amount.
  • What is the best way to contact you? Please include both a phone number and email in your RFQ as it helps for clarifying information, or sending a message outside of business hours.
  • Is any other detail important to you? You're welcome to include it so that suppliers will be made aware.

Is there a cost to submit a RFQ?

Webpackaging does not charge anything to publish a RFQ that is of relevance to the packaging industry.
