Vacuum packaging is also called decompression packaging, which extracts all the air in the packaging container and seals it to maintain a high degree of pressure reduction in the bag. The scarcity of air is equivalent to the effect of low oxygen so microorganisms have no viable living conditions. Vacuum packaging applications include plastic bags, aluminum foil packaging, glassware, plastic and its composite packaging, etc. The packaging material can be selected according to the type of item. 

Features of vacuum packaging

When food is vacuum-sealed, some of the air (oxygen) inside the packaging container is removed. This effectively prevents food spoilage and contamination. By using packaging materials with excellent barrier properties and rigorous sealing technology, packaging contents' contamination can be avoided, preserving the food's taste and texture. Vacuum packaging also eliminates the gas inside the container, which accelerates heat transfer and improves the efficiency of heat sterilization. This also prevents the packaging container from rupturing due to gas expansion during heat sterilization.
