Zanders is presenting the high-gloss board grades of the premium brand Chromolux as well as the versatile qualities of the Zanpack brand at the FachPack 2016 trade fair. In addition, the German manufacturer of special paper and boards will be introducing the new oil and grease resistant food contact paper Zanbarrier OGR from the flexible packaging paper range. Zanders offers diverse solutions for packaging, which are gaining considerable attention and will win over customers due to their special tactility.

The Chromolux premium brand perfectly sets off high-end products such as exclusive perfumes and cosmetics, exquisite confectionery, champagne and spirits, fine tobacco goods and many other luxury articles. The cast-coated board grades stand out due to their high-gloss appearance and unique smoothness.

The Zanpack brand high-quality board grades offer great versatility in terms of use. With extraordinarily smooth surfaces, one-sided double-coated Zanpack silk and two-sided double-coated Zanpack silk², ensure that the look is attractive as well as yielding a silky tactility. They are perfectly suitable as packaging for confectionery, food and drinks, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, tobacco goods and non-food articles. Zanpack touch conveys a pleasantly and naturally rough feel with its uncoated surface, which makes this grade especially attractive for brands intending to emphasise their natural focus or handcrafted production methods.

Zanders has developed the uncoated food contact paper Zanbarrier OGR particularly for products containing fat, and will be presenting it for the first time at the FachPack 2016 trade fair. OGR stands for “oil and grease resistant”, and Zanbarrier OGR is also moisture-proof. It is suitable for fast food packaging such as kebab or French fry wrappers; for butter wrapping, as release paper for fatty and moist food products or as lamination on pizza and bakery boxes, for example. Zanbarrier is also being developed with other barrier variations and completes the range of flexible packaging paper.

All Zanders grades are manufactured in Germany to the highest of production standards and exclusively employ FSC®-certified and sustainably derived pulp.
