Many plastics are disposed of after being used, and end up in landfills or oceans. As plastic does not biodegrade, it can pose serious risks to animals, plants, and humans. To reduce this impact, more and more plastic consumer products are being recycled and used to make new products.

The OpUs Verte+ is the latest accomplishment in this area: a trigger sprayer that offers the same high quality and performance, with considerably less plastic waste.

As the global push for more environment-friendly packaging solutions continues, the availability and quality of PCR resin is improving. True to its mission of ‘re-inventing liquid dispensing’, AFA’s Research & Innovation (R&I) team searched for a resin made from 100% PCR - and used it to replace all the parts in the previous model that were made from a combination of virgin and PCR resin. The result is a product with a 67% overall content of recycled material, the highest percentage of any OpUs trigger sprayer.

Guaranteed lifespan of 10,000 strokes

As a testament to its durability and longevity, OpUs Verte+ retains the exceptional performance of its predecessors in the OpUs trigger sprayer line. With certain technical elements still crafted from virgin resin for enhanced longevity, the new sprayer boasts a guaranteed lifespan of over 10,000 strokes. This means that a single OpUs Verte+ sprayer can be reused for up to 27 bottles of 500 ml liquid product, making it a cost-effective and environment-friendly choice.
