The Australian Institute of Packaging will be introducing a new half-day training course on the Introduction to Product Identification. The course presenter will be Mark Dingley, General Manager – Operations, Matthews Australasia and the first course will be held on Thursday 22nd October at 1330 Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby VIC.

This course will provide an insight into product identification requirements through the supply chain and the technology needed to achieve compliance, as well as process improvements. The course will also incorporate where product identification is heading, including trends such as serialisation and product identification technology for reducing waste and improving profitability.  Furthermore, it will include some hands-on training on a wide range of identification and inspection equipment such as label print & apply and vision systems.
