CAN Packaging offers a range of high-performance GREENCAN® cans made of recyclable cardboard with easy opening systems for a low cost, designed for the direct packaging and storage of all types of food product.

CAN PACKAGING was founded by Georges Sireix in 1989 in France. Georges Sireix is an engineer with a degree from CNAM. For 45 years, he has been designing machines for manufacturing cardboard cans to measure, for each type of food packaging.
His son Guillaume joined him in 2001, and they began working together to design machinery and manufacturing methods. That collaboration has boosted the development of the company and the efficiency of its machinery.

- 1989 : CAN PACKAGING founded.
- 1996 : Process licence granted to a multinational operating in the US.
- 1997 : Process licence granted to a multinational operating in the US.
- 1999 : Production plant constructed in Habsheim (Haut-Rhin - France).
- 2001 : Research & Development centre set up with Guillaume Sireix.
- 2007 : Guillaume Sireix appointed Managing Director of CAN PACKAGING.
- 2010 : new production plant constructed in Ancenis (Loire-Atlantique – France).
- 2011 : 200 customer references across Europe, with over 10million cans manufactured, and turnover quadrupled since 2006.
- 2012 : GREENCAN® trademark launched, with a new third-generation production line, ISO 9001 Certification.
