Collcap, a primary packaging supplier for a host of UK high street brands and prestigious customers the world over, has seen turnover double during the last five years. Currently, work is set to start on the refurbishment of a business unit in Leekbrook to provide new office space, a technical suite, and conferencing facilities.

General Manager Neal Kinson said, "An open-plan office will provide a high quality work environment for our Leek-based staff so our personnel remain efficient and flexible in managing increasing customer numbers. We are planning IT and conferencing facilities and a technical room where we can showcase new advances in equipment and processes.”

Also new to the location upgrade will be the addition of a showroom. “The sheer breadth of our portfolio means that an expansive showroom is the ideal solution to show visitors new to the company exactly what we do – and just how well we do it. Our steady growth in a difficult economy shows that we know our market and have tailored our offering well – and also proves our own value to the market and our customers. Our highly efficient packaging service benefits our customers and in this way helps maintain their own growth, so of course customers return to us again.”

Collcap’s UK headquarters are supported by offices in China and Hong Kong, with representatives in Taiwan and the United States.

The UK move is expected to take place in early 2015, offering room for further growth, with plans to employ more staff following Collcap’s 40 per cent expansion in the last four years. Customers and suppliers alike are invited to visit the bespoke premises which promise a new step in Collcap’s meteoric progression.
