Continuing with the successful “1 Fair, 2 Venues” formula, from 13 to 15 November, Cosmopack Asia at the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) hosts exhibitors from the avant-garde supply chain: leaders in raw materials and ingredients, machinery and automation, primary and secondary packaging, contract manufacturing and private labels. Meanwhile, from 14 to 16 November, Cosmoprof Asia at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will shine the spotlight on finished goods across all main cosmetic sectors: perfumery and cosmetics, beauty salon and spa, hair, nail and accessories, as well as natural and organic.
Cosmoprof Asia spotlights (13 – 15 November)
Cosmopack Asia at AWE brings together 903 suppliers and manufacturers, each showcasing their cutting-edge expertise and covering every step of the production process. The exhibition halls are divided into six specific areas: Prestige Pack & OEM, Contract Manufacturing /OEM /ODM /Private Label, Ingredients & Laboratory, Machinery & Equipment, Packaging Materials Suppliers, Print & Label. Together they take up an exhibition area of approximately 41,800 sqm.
For visitors looking for the very best in luxury packaging, innovative solutions and quality manufacturing services, 165 industry leaders in the field of packaging and contract manufacturing will be presenting their expertise in the Prestige Pack & OEM zone.
The main event at AWE is no doubt “SKINTONIC – The Factory” where visitors can observe the entire manufacturing process of an exclusive dual-effect serum. From the making of the serum through the packaging process to the finished product, the demonstration will epitomize the perfect combination of creativity and technology. “SKINTONIC – The Factory” has been made possible thanks to the manufacturing expertise of Citus Kalisx – a Coesia Company (France) for the machinery and equipment; Homer Printing (China) – for the deluxe folding cardboard box; LTUTech (France) for the digital app of image recognition; Pinkfrogs Cosmetics (Italy) – for the formulation; and Quadpack (Spain) – for its innovative packaging solutions. And inside? The serum includes Dendrobium Nobile Orchid extract and absorbs beautifully into the skin, minimizing imperfections, creating a silky smooth texture and resulting in a naturally radiant complexion.
Another main attraction is the COSMOLAB area, where visitors interact with an A.I. robot capturing analytics based on hair types and other features to create a unique formulated shampoo sample (40ml) as a personalized gift. The product is crafted in collaboration with Opal Cosmetics and demonstrates the latest manufacturing processes and automated and data-driven manufacturing technologies, including A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) and Industry 4.0.
In addition, CosmoTalks at AWE will focus on the latest macro-trends within the supply chain industry. Presentations include “China Cosmetic Package Design Trends” by Yang Design, “International Cosmetic and Formulation Summit” by HKSCC, “Natural and Organic Ingredients Update” by Ecovia and SGS’s “Launching Cosmetic Products Worldwide! Be Aware of the Requirements”.
