EFA Packaging, a professional designer and manufacturer plastic and aluminium packaging for beauty and cosmetic products, has released a lip gloss pack that features a bauble-holding top or container geared towards young consumers.

The lip gloss comes complete with a screw on applicator brush that incorporates an attractive holed top (or container) where the cosmetic firm purchasing the gloss container can attach anything “dangly”.  While EFA has envisaged this as a connecting point for baubles, charms or stamped logos, the fact that the lip gloss container offers a location to hang or connect other items implies a variety of uses:

• A keychain connection point
• A tag connection point, where the company could offer information on the product, corporate attitudes on the environment, marketing copy, etc.
• A connection point for special co-branding offers.
• A place to connect small giveaways, promotional tchotchkes or other small merchandising rewards.

The simple fact that the lip gloss containers feature a small hole on either the cap or the container opens up myriad possibilities with regard to marketing, decorating and branding.
