History. All our experience at your service.

In 1984 Mr. Saturnino Berne began to work in the wood sector at 1500 m² installations.

In 1990 owing to the great performance of the past years, it is necessary to enlarge the installation to 6000 m2 of land and 900 m2 industrial bays. The company name was changed into Embalajes Bercalsa SL, established by Mr. Saturnino Berne.

It was also change the aim of the company, so it started to be able to buy and sell used pallets.

In 1995 two owner´s sons started to work in the company. In 2004 there was another installation enlargement, 25000 m² of land and 6000 m² of industrial bays.

5 automatic production lines and a capacity of manufacturing 6000 pallets per day are available.

This history makes our company in one of the best firms in national packing sector.

At present Embalajes Bercalsa have 45.000 m²of installations.

Embalajes Bercalsa belongs to the official register of operators of wooden packing which fulfil NIMF 15 (program for achieve health standards in wooden packing for export) and it is authorised to mark the wood with the following logotype.
