Eurasia Packaging is the most important trade fair of the packaging industry in Turkey. After its acquisition in early summer in Istanbul, Greiner Packaging will also be participating at the fair for the first time from October 22 - 25, and will be presenting innovative packaging solutions for the food industry. Premium packaging such as cardboard-plastic combinations will be front and center.

Greiner Packaging recently expanded its international market position in June through an acquisition in Turkey. The Teknik Plastik and Teknik IM companies were acquired at a 51% majority by the Özata Group. Since then, Greiner Packaging has been the market leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging for dairy products in Turkey.
The company will showcase its competence as a packaging manufacturer for the first time in Istanbul at Eurasia Packaging from October 22 - 25. In Hall 3, Booth 319A, a variety of packaging solutions will be presented offering customers in the food sector a clear advantage and a chance to set themselves apart on the shelves.

K3®: Cardboard-plastic cups score with communication and ecological advantages
K3® packaging solutions will be one of the fair highlights. As an expert in the field of cardboard-plastic combinations, Greiner Packaging is gladly meeting the increasing demand for an environmentally-friendly packaging solution, and is now also offering this innovative packaging technology to customers in Turkey. K3® cups stand out thanks to three considerable advantages:

  • Communication: The cardboard wrap can be printed on both sides and offers plenty of space for information. Stickers, scratch panels, or windows are also possible with K3® cups.
  • CO2 emissions: Thanks to the cardboard wrap, the cup weight can be greatly reduced, minimizing the plastic part, saving on transport costs, and consequently on CO2 emissions.
  • Recycling: The cardboard wrap can be separated from the plastic cup and then recycled – an important asset for environmentally conscious consumers.

“With our new site in Istanbul, we can satisfy the increasing needs for new and innovative packaging possibilities, and in so doing give companies in the food industry a clear leading edge in the market," stresses Robert Obermayr, K Sales Director.

Aside from cardboard-plastic combinations, visitors to the Greiner Packaging booth can also get an insight into the wide range of services offered by the company. Refined using IML, sleeve or print, the plastic expert offers packaging of the highest quality
