Italian research day in Luxembourg

On 25th September GCL Technologies, the center of technological research of Guala Closures Group, tooks part at the first “Italian research day in Luxembourg”, an event promoted and organized by the Italian Embassy in Luxembourg and the University of Luxembourg.

During the Italian Research day in Luxembourg, many Italian scientists and researchers working in the university, in the International and Luxembourgers institutes, in the companies – such as Amazon, Ferrero, Goodyear, Guala Closures, Husky, Luxspace – they have shown the results of their researches, which contribute to introducing innovation in industry, in sciences, technologies, engineering and mathematics.

GCL Technologies has been able to show the latest technologies developed for the beverage closures sector: it ranges from process innovation, with the introduction of flexible automation, to rapid prototyping through the latest generation of 3D printing, to integration of NFC tags within the closures, which opens new horizons in the communication between the brand and the consumer.
