Karl Finke GmbH & Co. KG, with registered office in Wuppertal (Germany),
ranks among the largest medium-sized manufacturers of pigment preparations
for the plastics’-processing industry in Europe. The high-quality master
batches, liquid paints, color pastes and pulverised pigment preparations are
used in cosmetics’ and foodstuffs’ packaging, in injection-moulding
applications, in technical components, in film- processing as well as in the
automotive and furniture industries.
With more than 65 years of experience in the sector, the ISO 9001, 14001 and
50001-accredited company prides itself in its ability to accompany its
customers and their products from the design phase all the way through to
start of production. State-of-the-art technical equipment is the customer’s
guarantee of a second-to-none, application-specific advisory service in colors,
all of which can take place either in the company’s in-house laboratory facility
or on the customer’s own premises.
As an independent company, Karl Finke GmbH & Co. KG operates distribution
bases in numerous different countries and exports its products on a worldwide
scale.
Sales
We are an independent company with our headquarters in Wuppertal. We have sales offices in many countries around the world and export products around the globe. More than 2,000 customers worldwide rely on the quality of our products.
Our Sales department in Europe is organized both with its own office and field staff as well as regional representatives. We normally handle exports to other countries through our country representatives located there.

Uncompromisingly clean colors
As a company in the chemical industry, we, of course, have the special responsibility of developing products that offer the utmost in safety and soundness to humans as well as the environment. Especially when processing thermoplastics, a harmless starting product can quickly lose its chemical and physiological harmlessness. Our color preparations are so well-engineered right through to the finished product in which they are used that they pose no risk at all to consumers. Regular internal and external checks ensure the safeness of our colors.
Environmental and Energy Management
Also during production itself and when operating our facilities, we are always careful not to consume energy unnecessarily and to reduce our emissions to a minimum. Throughout our existence, we have always maintained our production facilities at the cutting edge of technology in order to serve the needs of our customers optimally. As a result, this technology has also become steadily more efficient. At the same time, however, we continually optimize our procedures and processes in order to reduce energy consumption. Our integrated environmental and energy management system is certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
