Tightening your eyeliner, freshening your lipstick, or re-applying eye shadow – making yourself beautiful is the most fun when the tools you’re using also look good. That’s why products with makeup packaging that appeal to the style and taste of the target group have optimal sales potential.

Makeup packaging – often the best advertisement for your product

When designing it, details, colours, and applications count – mascara can be visually enhanced by a snake print, eyeshadow that matches trendy jeans fashion even in denim style is compelling, or a playful perfume with a doll aesthetic or in a flower box enchant customers and their friends when they’re taken out of purses into the light. Because attractive packaging advertises your products – and always when your customers are out and about with them. Whether at a restaurant, in clubs, or at friends’ homes – this constantly increases awareness of your product by word of mouth or “show” propaganda. Some limited editions even develop collector’s value.

Functionality should not be compromised!

Flawless functionality of the individual makeup utensils can of course not be compromised on amidst the enthusiasm for the design, because nobody uses an eyeshadow box that is impractical to hold or mascara that smears when you open it. It is always best for functionality and aesthetics to go hand in hand in makeup packaging.

Can it also cost a little more? Beautiful packaging – a higher price?

So you know how consumers think about attractive packaging etc., we looked around on the Internet a bit – looking for real consumer opinions about “beautiful makeup packaging” and how important it is and how expensive the product can then be priced.

The result is

  1. That many consumers usually have their “basics”, but if something is particularly pretty to look at, they take another look even if it’s something they don’t need.
  2. That the content absolutely has to match the makeup packaging.
  3. hat many people assume beautiful packaging means quality content.
  4. That they are prepared to pay a higher price for the optics, because as lovers of beautiful things they especially like to use the product or take it out.
  5. That beautiful makeup packaging is an incentive to test a new or previously unknown product.
  6. That some customers are willing to try other products because of packaging that they don’t find attractive enough.
