The customer

MJS was approached by a contract packager representing a leading automotive manufacturer.

The objective

MJS needed to solve a complicated engineering challenge brought about by new EPA requirements regarding diesel engine emissions.

The two-phase solution

Phase 1
MJS Packaging worked with the customer’s engineering team to design, produce, and assemble quickly a flexible nozzle to meet the EPA deadline.

Phase 2
Customer margins needed to be optimized by utilizing global resources to find a more cost-efficient manufacturer.

Conclusion
