MW Luxury bags Bronze and Silver at the Pure Beauty Awards

In the category of Best New Design & Packaging, we won both the Bronze and Silver awards. Winning Bronze was our acclaimed pack for the Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder Daylight Edition 2.0 Collection, and winning Silver was our La Mer Moisturising Matte Lotion maze box, a pack inspired by pinball machines and Chinese puzzle boxes.

With so many other companies to compete with, many genuine luxury manufacturers are struggling to stand out and progress with new competitors consistently undercutting their prices. Some people argue that luxury isn’t truly being diluted, but that improved manufacturing processes and more sophisticated technologies have allowed for greater efficiency, reducing costs while maintaining quality.

Three Trophies for the MW Team at the 2018 PAC Awards

On February 27th the Packaging Consortium (PAC) held its annual Global Leadership Awards Gala. Held at the BXP Live! Conference in Bonita Springs, Florida, the awards ceremony featured a panel of expert judges and competitors from around the world. Also in attendance was Dustin Wills, MW’s Managing Director of the Americas; by the end of the evening, he had picked up three trophies on behalf of the team.

La Mer Maze Box Wins Silver at the Trending Packaging Awards

Following a successful collaboration with La Mer last year, we are delighted to share the news that the resulting pack has been honoured with an industry award. The Trending Packaging Awards were announced on January 8th, and our entry – the Moisturizing Matte Lotion Maze Box – ended up with a Silver award.

Every year, the hard work of those suppliers is recognised at an awards ceremony – and this year, the team from MW Luxury Packaging were lucky enough to bag both an invite and an award.

MW Luxury Packaging showcase their packs for Diageo's 2017 special releases

For the fifth year running, MW Luxury Packaging have manufactured packs for Diageo’s Special Release Single Malt Whiskies. This year, a total of ten whiskies were selected, eight of which were handed over to the MW team for the production of the packaging. Some of the big hitters include a classic re-release from a closed distillery, an exciting new single malt from an up-and-comer, and a truly unique blend, crafted from the single malts of 28 different Diageo distilleries.
