    Cope Allman Jaycare Ltd. has announced the launch of SIMPLEDOSE - a range of products specifically designed to reduce costs and simplify methadone administration within supervised methadone programmes.

    Injecting opiate drugs is now common in the United Kingdom and the administration of oral methadone by community pharmacies has enabled many opiate dependent drug injectors to reduce or cease injecting, with consequent improvements in health and social stability.

    SIMPLEDOSE provides the Pharmacist with a standardised range of container/closure combinations that will help simplify the operation of filling, labeling and administration of the appropriate daily dose.  The containers are convenient to drink form and can also be utilised for rinsing out (to ensure that the complete dose is consumed).

    The SIMPLEDOSE range consists of 4 sizes of containers (30ml, 60ml, 90ml and 120ml) and supplied in multipacks (complete with closure).

    The containers are graduated for volume measure and visual verification. They are CE marked in accordance with the Medical Device Directive (Class 1) and can stack (with and without closure) to maximise shelf space.

    The closures are common throughout the range and simply snap fit on/push off the container. They are also colour coded for product recognition.
