Take up the Ecopack challenge and you could present your idea to a panel of industry experts and win the chance to develop your idea with Marks & Spencer.
What is the Ecopack Challenge?
The Ecopack Challenge is your chance to showcase a sustainable packaging product service or solution to the UK's biggest audience of packaging professionals.
This is a unique opportunity to get your latest environmentally friendly initiative in front of brands, retailers, packaging technologists, technicians and other packaging professionals.
Who can take part?
Anyone with a recently launched sustainable or environmentally friendly packaging product or solution can enter.
A shortlist of five entries will be invited to attend Packaging Innovations at the NEC on 24 and 25 February 2016 to pitch their product to a panel of experts and potential customers live on the EcoPack theatre.
Apart from showcasing your product to the EcoPack audience, the winner will also be invited to develop their idea with the Marks & Spencer's packaging team.
How do I enter?

The small print - Entry criteria
- Your entry must respond to a real consumer or business need
- Clearly demonstrates sustainable packaging design
- Minimises energy consumption in its production and recycling
- The pack concept must be unique to the entrant and have clear intellectual property rights with them. The design can be in the form of a concept or a prototype and should be covered by copyright, design right and or copyright as the 'pitch' to the judges will be in public forum
Please note that if you are successfully shortlisted you will need to be available to pitch your idea at the NEC on 24 February. Your pitch should be no more than 10 minutes long and use models, samples, drawings as well as illustration to present the case. There will be no use of PowerPoint or similar permitted.

The Ecopack Challenge was a new feature of NEC 2015 where a selection of exhibitors pitched their eco-friendly packaging ideas in front of a panel of professionals looking for the latest sustainable solutions.
