SHB now offers preforms for easier line integration

  • SHB Packaging

SHB, the producers of a host of mix and match bottle/closure solutions for the health and beauty sectors, has begun to offer their solutions in preform format, in order to provide companies with a simple way to get high quality PET containers integrated into their existing lines.

A wide array of SHB's existing bottles can be purchased as parisons, including:

  • Preform 2, suitable for the GEMINI II neck in 21g (to produce bottle sizes of 250ml or 300ml)
  • Preform 2, suitable for the DELTA neck in 21g (to produce bottle sizes of 250ml or 300ml)
  • Preform 3, suitable for the GEMINI III neck in 21 g (to produce bottle sizes of 250ml or 300ml or in 27g (to produce bottle sizes of 400ml or 500ml)
  • Preform 4, suitable for the GEMINI IV neck in 26g (to produce bottle sizes of 400ml or 500 ml)

Each of the preforms comes with an appropriate mould that can be set into a line using any of the standard methods for creating bottles out of PET: extrusion blow moulding, injection blow moulding, or stretch blow moulding. As SHB produces high quality parisons out of PET plastic, if properly integrated, the bottles are produced with little chance of stress whitening or turning out brittle.

SHB's full range of preforms ensures a company can obtain the precise look it requires, matched with closures certain to attract attention thanks to their versatility and creative use of colours and materials.

SHB adds the new Roll-On G to its ample range of roll-on products

SHB already has a wide range of roll-on bottles and overcaps available, but has recently added a new item to the line: the practical Roll-On G. The new bottle is a bit of a departure from the standard roll-on products produced by the company, as it's designed to be stored upside down. Eye-catching on the shelf of the pharmacy and eminently practical (it keeps the roller ball from drying out) the new roll-on is bound to cause a splash.
