Spectra Packaging have recently launched a new standard pack that allows customers to mould their brand name into the side of the design.

The new Bari design, available as a 250ml capacity pack in PET, features a clever side recess area where brands can incorporate their logo or name, providing a bespoke custom feel pack at a lower cost.

Spectra's Managing Director, Joe Maynard went on to explain, "The new Bari pack is perfect for customers competing in tough markets wishing for a bespoke look. We understand the economic climate dictates that custom tooling can sometimes be prohibitive. This new bottle helps overcome this barrier whilst still providing a genuine point of difference".

Spectra's cost-saving claims are clear to see. The new Bari pack is less than half the cost of having a custom tooled container made, yet it offers a distinctive look certain to attract attention.

Joe commented, "Sometimes customers need to stand out from the crowd without over stretching themselves financially. That's why we are constantly looking at ways to help them do this with solutions like the Bari bottle".

Our new Bari container was originally launched at Packaging Innovations a couple of years ago to widespread interest. As a result, the design has now been incorporated into our extensive range of standards.

Our long-term desire has always been to reduce virgin material levels in our products, encouraging our customers to embrace Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content. To back up this desire, we continue to put solid and robust supply chains in place to support customer demand. Since then, we have seen more and more customers appreciate the environmental benefits of recycled content in their packaging, with many taking levels beyond 10%, in many instances as high as 100%.
