Spectra will be showcasing a selection of their extensive standard ranges at Packaging Innovations this year.

As more and more brands seek off-the-shelf solutions for their product packaging, Spectra has built an impressive collection to cater for most requirements.

With over 250 standard designs available, with more regularly added, Spectra can provide the perfect alternative to custom moulding with a diverse choice of styles.

Jonathan Powell, Sales Director at Spectra commented, “Our standards have been carefully cultivated to provide a breadth of shapes and sizes. Although we continually add new designs to our ranges, we are also constantly bolstering existing families of styles to give customers optimum versatility, hugely beneficial when custom tooling isn’t an option”.

Available in HDPE, PET and environmentally friendly materials such as PCR and sugarcane-based biopolymer, Spectra’s standard packs come in an array of capacity options - from 30ml up to 500ml.

A wide cross-section of styles will be on display at the London show, including various rounds, ovals and squares along with a number of distinctive miscellaneous designs. Grouped in complementary families in either HDPE or PET, the packs will be on open display for visitors to see at close range.

All the standard bottles showcased will also include closures available from Spectra’s impressive injection moulded component collection.

Amongst these will be the company’s latest addition, their new 24/410 disc top closure (Ref: 3033), a bore sealed cap available in single or dual colour options.

Jonathan added, “Variety is a key factor for brands when looking at shapes, sizes and materials and our standard ranges easily satisfy these criteria”.

Spectra rolls out 30% minimum recycled content standard

Our long-term desire has always been to reduce virgin material levels in our products, encouraging our customers to embrace Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content. To back up this desire, we continue to put solid and robust supply chains in place to support customer demand. Since then, we have seen more and more customers appreciate the environmental benefits of recycled content in their packaging, with many taking levels beyond 10%, in many instances as high as 100%.
