Until recently heat seals have commonly been used for food, pharmaceutical and many other consumer product applications. But, heat seal liners can also be used with metal closures and Tecnocap's standard heat seal liners are supplied in their million across the globe, protecting products and providing a clear visual seal to the consumer that their product has reached them safely.

Heat seal liners, applied with a heat induction sealing system, provide a hermetic seal by welding a foil liner to the container. The liner retains freshness, thereby increasing shelf life. It also prevents leaks and is an effective means of tamper evidence.

Tecnocap's heat seal liners can be used with either tin-plate or aluminum closures. Tecnocap supplies industries around the world with millions of Unishells with heat seal liners. A standard liner can be printed with either "SEALED FOR YOUR PROTECTION" or "SAFETY SEAL®". The liners are also available with pull tabs or custom prints.
