The future of godets is upon us, with HALF MAGIC launching their dreamy collection of sumptuously pigmented eyeshadows, tucked away in pocket-sized compostable compacts.
The eyeshadow
HALF MAGICs' individually sold velvety eyeshadows give the end-user complete artistic freedom allowing the consumer to mix and match to curate their dream palette. However, the lifecycle of the godets doesn't stop there...
The compact
These exceptionally unique eyeshadows are encased in equally extraordinary biobased packaging. HALF MAGIC, via their collaboration with Toly – the representative for PaperFoam®– is the first to launch on the market with this completely home compostable or paper recyclable technology, giving these godets another life!
The energy-efficient and low-carbon manufacturing provided by solar, and wind-powered manufacturing plants generates a material that reduces up to 90% carbon emissions. The biodegradable packaging consists of a four-ingredient mixture based on potato starch, natural fibers, water and a pre-mix, which forms a thick paste. The top-secret concoction is then injected into a hard aluminum tool and baked at roughly 400 °F (204 °C).
After the PaperFoam® material serves its purpose, it is left to decompose naturally in a matter of four to ten weeks, with no harmful leftovers. The material is 60% lighter compared to the weight of regular product packaging, making PaperFoam’s® certified sustainable packaging a responsible and eco-friendly solution for both manufacturers and consumers.
HALF MAGIC is not only leading the way in inspiring unique makeup creativity but is also paving the way for widespread use of packaging materials that leave no trace behind.
