China's leading processing and packaging industry event -- the 23rd Shanghai International Processing and Packaging Exhibition will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center from July 12 to 14, 2017. This year, the exhibition introduces Printech China as a brand new track within the show, appearing alongside FoodTek, BevTek, DairyTek, CosmeticTek and PharmaTek at the exhibition.

ProPak China is a leading industry exhibition and the only one in its category supported by multiple industry associations and featuring advanced packaging technology from around the world. Participating associations include: The French International Exchange Association for the Development of Agricultural Products and Technology (ADEPTA), Italian Printing, Papermaking and Paper Processing Machinery Manufacturers Association (ACIMGA), Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association (UCIMA), Italian Foreign Trade Commission (I. C. In 2016, ProPak China launched its ProPak China Quiz Bowl competition – an interactive event that was well-received by industry insiders. The 2017 ProPak China Quiz Bowl competition will again attract college students from nine leading universities across China. Supporting universities include: China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Industry and Commerce University, Zhejiang Industry University, Jiangnan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Ocean University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Nanjing Agricultural University. The competition is organized by Fuli Food Research Institute of Zhejiang University and supported by the Food Science and Technology Institute of China.        

ProPak China 2017 will continue to provide free technology conferences for its visitors. This year's conferences include: a Keynote Speech Seminar by Shanghai Beverage Industry Association and China (Yangtze River Delta) Drinks Industry; "Using The Latest Active and Intelligent Packaging Technology to Improve the Packaging Effect and Presentation", by Active and Intelligent Packaging Association; "Automated Solutions for Food and Beverage Packaging" and "Global Food and Beverage Innovation Trends", by Edoo Media; Vogel Media will also give a presentation on laws and regulations related to automation and informatization and current market trends.        

ProPak China attracts a range of professional visitors including senior management, engineers, factory directors, equipment supervisors, product designers, and purchasers. It also has received wide support and recognition of many industry associations which will organize professional visitor groups to attend the exhibition. These associations include: Heilongjiang Food Industry Association, Jiangsu Food Industry Association, Qingdao Food Industry Association, Shanghai Food Industry Association, Wuhan Food Industry Association, Zhejiang Packaging Machinery Committee, Zhejiang Health Product and Cosmetics Industry Association, Zhejiang Daily Chemical Industry Association, Chongqing Food Industry Association, Zhejiang Food Additives and Ingredients Industry Association.      

ProPak China 2016 attracted 17,494 visitors. The organizers expect a significant increase in attendees this year.
