Viva's IML Tubes are Lighter than Ever

  • VIVA

Viva's Eco-Lite Tubes are designed with sustainability and efficiency in mind. The line is 30% lighter than conventional options, offering a significant reduction in material use without compromising durability or functionality. This weight reduction is achieved through innovative injection-molding techniques, paired with in-mold labeling (IML) technology.

The IML printing techniques used are highly versatile, allowing for a range of creative designs. The tubes can be printed using a variety of methods, including gallus press with up to 12 colors, flexo, offset, silkscreen, cold foil, hot stamp, and digital printing, providing endless opportunities for brands to customize their packaging.

Both the tube and its flip-top cap are made from FDA-approved polypropylene (PP), which simplifies the recycling process and reduces environmental impact. This makes the Eco-Lite Tubes an ideal choice for eco-conscious brands looking to minimize their carbon footprint. For those eager to take a step further, Viva offers options with up to 90% PCR materials.

In addition to being lighter and more recyclable, Viva designed these tubes for practicality. They have a maximum fill capacity of 250ml, making them suitable for a wide range of personal care products. And, being produced in North America, brands can reduce transportation costs and their associated carbon emissions. The local production model manages to support sustainability efforts and allows for quicker turnaround times for customers.
