    Wheaton is the country’s leader in the Perfume & Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical segments, and is one of the five largest installations in the world dealing with perfumes, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products, always ahead of time, innovating in concept, technology, service and design.

    Presently, besides Wheaton, that produces and decorates glass packaging and glassware, the Wheaton Brasil Group consists of the following companies:

    • Viton, that supplies machines, equipment and moulds for automatic glass industry;
    • Decor, decoration unit for glass packaging and utensils;
    • Extar, a trade company of glass products;
    • and Farmacap, supplying rubber and aluminum seals and accessories for the pharmaceutical, veterinary and other industries.

    Apart from the domestic market, Wheaton also operates in the international market, exporting to over 40 countries.     The company currently operates four continuous furnaces with a production capacity of 1 billion bottles per year, or 300 tons of glass per day, with state-of-the-art technology for glass melting, oxygen and regenerative combustion and computerized monitoring. There are 23 production lines, between I.S. machines, in the blown-blown and pressed-blown processes, and rotary presses in the pressed process. It also has clean rooms, with assured quality, in the lines dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry, and air-conditioned rooms with positive pressure for the cosmetics line.

    Wheaton also counts with 7 color feeders totally dedicated to the perfumery and cosmetic industries, and a unit of decoration, that allows to personalize the jars, serving to the most demanding clients. Within modern facilities, with air-conditioned rooms, the Decoration unit is composed of:

    • 8 semi-automated lines and 12 automated SS lines (Silk Screen), working with organic and inorganic inks and UV technology, as well as gold and silver;
    • 2 automatic painting lines working with inorganic paints;
    • 6 automated painting lines working with organic paints;
    • 1 automated plating line (with 2 plating equipments)
    • 2 automatic acid-fusing lines;
    • 4 semi-automatic lines and 1 automated pad printing line;
    • 4 Automated hot stamping lines;
    • 2 Automated labeling lines;
    • Decaling and Acessory application lines;
    • Laser application;
    • 2 semi-automatic heat transfer lines;
