The Firm
Wildcat Packaging is a thoroughly international company led by a dozen or so engineers and managerial staff members and is present in France, in the United States and in China.
Our headquarters in Biarritz is located in a research and technology park, alongside some one hundred technology companies, an engineering school specializing in product design, and three research laboratories. It is home to our Marketing, Product Development, Production Coordination, and Supply Chain Departments.
Our representatives in California care for project monitoring (marketing, quality, manufacturing and logistics) in the United States.
Our office in Shenzhen coordinates the activities of our Chinese subcontractors, works with process monitoring and quality control, along with process upgrading to build our subcontractors’ skills.
A balanced production between Europe and Asia: All of our manufacturing is done both in our own workshops and within a network of subcontracting industries including France and Spain and reaching as far as China. East and West: Maintaining this dual manufacturing capacity balance is crucial in order for us to meet all requirements (quantities, deadlines, costs), both short- and long-term.

With a diverse professional background (computer science, sports equipment, POP, luxury, and so on), Wildcat Packaging’s team has a taste for beautiful things, technological innovation, and the ambition to grow as a designer of ecofriendly packaging.
Purposely non-specialist, the company brings together a wide range of technical skills that we enjoy combining: wood and wood derivatives (molded plywood, wood veneer), plastics processing (injection, thermoforming), cardboard, leather, and synthetics, metal (folding, cutting), electronics, agro-materials.
Whether in product design, packaging manufacturing, POP making, each member of Wildcat Packaging’s staff shares the founding values of the company by being partners that listen closely and that are committed to transparency in their practices with any and every customer - start-up, small business or major brand.
Services
Packaging Design
Regardless of where it comes from, the shape, the materials, the marketing brief or design agency visual, each project taken on by Wildcat Packaging follows the same 3-stage packaging engineering methodology: engineering study, technical design, and industrializing.
Packaging Engineering
After the initial concept study phase, the packaging concept stage moves on from analysis of technical possibilities (choice of materials and processes, etc.) to meeting the requirements of the specifications in order to steer us to an industrializable solution, optimized in terms of costs, quality, and lead times. Our management tools (ERP, project monitoring, value engineering, risk management, industrial process monitoring) are put in place well upstream in the product’s development.
Manufacturing
The final step of our engineering process, the industrialization phase covers the control of the bill of materials implementation and industrial manufacturing processes and organizing the on-line quality control.
With our in-plant engineers and their assistants, in our own workshops in the USA and France or in our China partners’ factories , we guarantee the qualitative aspect of manufacturing that we want to reach prior to taking on the logistics operations.
Biodegradable Wrapping
As a designer of ecofriendly packaging, our job is to combine the most appropriate biodegradable materials and industrial processes to manufacture eco-packaging of a quality that matches our traditional packaging. So solvent-free ink, water-based varnish, agro-materials, bioplastics, and recycled paper are core features of this technical area.
Our skills also cover environmental impact measures, to steer our customers toward a reasonable output path that gives special attention to the least invasive solutions, both during the phase of manufacturing the components themselves and that of overall packaging recycling or degradability.
Manufacturing pop materials
With our ability to work with and combine wood, metal, and plastic materials, we also love doing concept work on POP materials, making display stands, display cases, furnishings and items of ecofriendly design for the point of sale.
